Delete your account data
This page applies to the KN Captain driver app and the KN Core Connect employee app, published on Google Play by KN Travels (KN Carriers & Logistics Private Limited).
Accounts in these apps are created by KN Travels for its drivers and employees, so there is no in-app “delete account” button. To request deletion, follow the steps below.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to developer@kntravels.in with the subject “Account data deletion request”.
- Include the app name (KN Captain or KN Core Connect), your full name, and the mobile number or email address you sign in with.
- We will confirm your identity (for example by replying to your registered number or email) and process the request within 30 days.
You can also sign out of the app at any time; this removes your session and push-notification token from the device immediately.
What is deleted
- Your app login and session tokens, and any push-notification tokens.
- Your profile photo and any documents or bill photos you uploaded through the app.
- Device information associated with your account.
What may be kept, and for how long
Because these apps are used for employment and transport operations, some records must be retained even after your account is closed:
- Attendance, shift, trip and duty records, and finance requests, which form part of KN Travels’ statutory business, payroll and client billing records. These are kept for the period required by applicable law and our client contracts (typically up to 8 years), then deleted or anonymised.
- Compliance copies of driver documents where a law or client contract requires us to retain them for a set period.
Retained records are no longer used to contact you and are not linked to an active app account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
